In Atlanta, a plug or patch repair usually takes under half an hour without an appointment, while a full set of tires with alignment is best booked ahead. Demand peaks before winter and before summer road trips. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop sells used tires or handles truck and trailer tires, and its Google rating before you drive over on a spare.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Atlanta is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Georgia's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Very disappointed with my experience at Kingray Used Tires in 30318. I originally found this shop after having a tire blowout that left me stranded and needing a tow. I searched for the nearest tire shop in the area and called Kingray Used Tires. They assured me they had a good used tire in my size and quoted me a reasonable price, so I made them my tow destination. When the tow truck driver loaded my work car, he also pointed out that my passenger front tire was down to the wires and said it was only a matter of time before it blew too. So once I arrived, I explained that I needed TWO good used tires. After a long exhausting day on the side of the road, I was relieved thinking I was finally getting safe, reliable tires so I could get back to work and life. At first, the experience seemed positive. The employee was polite, and he even showed me how to properly release the emergency brake since I’m more familiar with newer cars. I appreciated that and thought it showed good customer service. Unfortunately, the tires themselves told a completely different story. Within TWO WEEKS, the driver’s side tire blew out. Because of the location and inconvenience, I chose to go elsewhere

Kingray Used Tires really came through for me when I needed a tire last minute. They’re open later, even on weekends, which was a huge help. When I called, they answered right away and confirmed they had the tire I needed. Once I arrived, I was greeted immediately and was in and out in about 20 minutes. The pricing was reasonable, and they’re not trying to overcharge people. I’d definitely recommend them!

I was formerly a loyal customer UNTIL this last time they screwed me over big time!!! As you can see in this picture these nuts aren’t all the same. Two are different from the rest because they screwed the last one on backwards last time messing up my threads and they wouldn’t go back on anymore. So after they said it would be fine and I paid right when I went back outside I checked to see if they were tight with MY HANDS and the nuts were the wrong size so they just sat on there. Only 3/5 fit and he said I needed to go to auto zone and figure it out. No money or discount for when they messed up and it also took almost two hours of me just sitting there for them to get to me. Terrible place and lastly, before I took my trailer there I took my new truck I purchased there so they didn’t recognize me and from their original price $100 they doubled it to $200 and “King Ray” started giggling until I walked off and told them they were scamming and I’ve done business with them multiple times. Once he realized that he knocked the price back down to the regular price however, did terrible dishonest work.

So I had a blow out on my trailer and pulled into her the guy was nice but he pulled the two tires off and put two used tires on my trailer that look almost as bad as the ones he took off and the charged me 160.00 for two used tires that should be like 20.00 But because I couldn't go anywhere I had to pay it I could buy news for just a little bit more at most shops
